Y2S Summer Camps

We believe summer should be fun, carefree, and a time for kids to get a break from structured schedules and enjoy the freedom to be kids. That means running around, laughing with friends, trying something new, or simply enjoying the moment without feeling rushed or directed.

That philosophy is at the core of how we run our summer camps, which is why we don’t list specific weekly themes ahead of time. Instead, kids vote from a list of thoughtfully planned themes on the first day of each week.

However, one thing that remains consistent for each camp is our mission: to help kids develop real-world life skills and an opportunity to make a positive impact within their community. To do this, we find creative ways to incorporate these experiences into games and team-based challenges that are both fun and meaningful.

So, while we don’t lock into a theme in advance, we promise to provide a fun, empowering, rewarding experience and, most importantly, a week where kids feel like they were a part of something that made a difference.

Sample Themes

ClassPass

Think of it like a fitness sampler just for kids! Each day brings something new — maybe it’s boxing on Monday, yoga on Tuesday, pickleball on Wednesday, music on Thursday, and street hockey on Friday. It’s all about trying new things, staying active, and having fun.

Team Building

Kids work together, solve problems, and learn leadership. We use the “IKEA Effect” to help kids understand success doesn’t come from being the best but from hard work and perseverance. The best part? Everything they build gets donated to local families or nonprofits—so their effort makes a real impact.

Play & Grow

Kids will have an opportunity to get their hands dirty in the garden and go on a mission called “Find the Beauty in Everything,” where kids repurpose overlooked or everyday items into something meaningful with a surpise at the end.

Global Games

A sporty trip around the world! We explore different cultures by learning about the games kids play in other countries. Whether it’s sepak takraw from Southeast Asia or bocce from Italy, it’s a week of movement, learning, and cultural appreciation.

Bucket List

We hand the reins to the campers and let them create a bucket list of activities they want to do for the week while taking turns as “junior counselors” to help organize the activities.

What’s On The Menu

Food is the best way to win a child’s heart, and what they eat keeps them energized and happy. Our goal is to make it easy for parents and memorable for kids; catering lunches from local favorite restaurants creates a win-win situation. If you prefer to pack a lunch, that works too.

Lunch

  • Build-Your-Own Sandwich Bar
  • DIY Tacos
  • Pasta
  • Chick-fil-A
  • Pizza Party

Snacks

  • Fresh Fruit
  • Pretzels, Chips and Popcorn
  • Granola Bars
  • Kids Protein Bars

Allergies

Before our summer camps start, we will email to confirm any campers with food allergies, particularly peanut allergies. If any child attending has a peanut allergy, no food items containing nuts or nut products will be provided or permitted at any summer camp program activities.

Common Questions

Who are your camp counselors?

Our staff includes trained high school juniors and seniors who want to take on leadership roles and serve as role models and mentors for our campers.

What is your camper-to-staff ratio?

We keep our camper-to-coach ratio at one coach for every 8-10 campers. This way, everyone gets plenty of personal attention, stays safe, and has a great time.

What Should My child bring?

A water bottle and sunscreen, that’s it! We have everything else, including food.

What if Outdoor Activities are Cancelled?

We focus on keeping everyone hydrated, providing shade breaks, and adjusting how hard we play when it’s hot outside to avoid overheating. We’ll switch things up and move activities indoors when needed, so we will never cancel our camp programs due to a heat advisory.

Do you have extended Camp Hours?

Drop off is at 9 am, and pick up is at 4 pm. We understand things happen, so call us if you need to drop off a little early or pick up a little late. We want to make things as easy as possible for parents.

Safety & Emergencies?

Safety is our highest priority! Our coaches are trained in CPR and first aid, and we have established safety protocols for all activities. If your child requires any medication in an emergency, please fill out the necessary forms and provide us with the medication on the first day of camp.

As summer approaches, we will email registered members with all relevant information, including the cell numbers of our staff, so you can contact us if anything comes up during camp hours.
