Replacing the skills of the ball with the mind, and the only competition is with who you were yesterday.

Grades 3-5

As kids move into upper elementary years, they begin to think more about how their actions affect others. They’re ready for more responsibility, more teamwork, and bigger challenges. In these years, kids still need sports to be fun, but they also need a place to practice the skills that give them confidence in school, on teams, and in friendships.

What kids learn:

  • Emotional intelligence: Understanding how emotions impact performance and connecting emotions to their choices.
  • Resilience: Learning how to set small goals, bounce back after setbacks, and keep trying until they improve.
  • Teamwork: Practicing roles on a team, communicating with others, and learning how everyone’s effort matters.
  • Leadership: Encouraging teammates and starting to learn what it means to lead by example.
  • Conflict resolution: Solving disagreements independently and practicing fairness with peers.
  • Confidence: Building belief in their own abilities through effort, progress tracking, and celebrating growth.
